I knew right away that this was going to be an unforgettable engagement photoshoot. When Jasmine mentioned they wanted elegant and posh engagement photos, my creative brain started spinning and my heart started to flutter.
Initially, we were planning their session to happen at the South Congress Hotel, a stunning location in downtown Austin. I also wanted to provide other options just in case so I sent over the details about Laguna Gloria and turns out this was the winner and for good reason.
As a photographer, I’ve been to many beautiful locations for photoshoots, but the Laguna Gloria in Austin, Texas is truly one of a kind. The perfectly manicured grounds, the stunning views of Lake Austin, and the historical villa all make for an incredibly romantic backdrop for any engagement shoot. There is just something about this place that makes you feel like you’re in a fairytale.

Regardless if you’re planning a photo shoot or just looking for a beautiful day out, I definitely recommend making a trip. Beware though, parking can be kind of tricky, especially during peak hours on the weekend.
